Music Therapy Assistant Professor Heeyoun Cho

Music Therapy Assistant Professor Heeyoun Cho has won a community benefit grant from the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation to support a research project, “Therapeutic Songwriting for Persons with Dementia and Their Caregivers.”

The purpose of the project is to provide psychosocial support using therapeutic songwriting to persons with dementia and their caregivers living in the Northern Chautauqua County area. Dr. Cho plans to conduct the project with music therapy students in the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.
