Resident Assistant Yuwan Ilano

The Residence Life Student Recognition Committee has selected Yuwan Ilano as one of the Resident Assistants of the Month for April.

Ilano was nominated by Resident Director Anissa Scharborough, and has been an RA for four semesters, serving in Hendrix and Chautauqua halls.

About the role of an RA, Ilano noted, "Being an RA has allowed me to be put into vulnerable positions which has made me grow in my job and also as a person. I have been able to create a platform of fostering education and awareness, expanding a sense of global thinking and inclusive values."

Ilano is a junior from Rome, N.Y., pursing a concurrent Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts and Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Communication: Public Relations.
