Fredonia State Men's Basketball team hosted SUNYAC opponent Oneonta on Sunday. The Blue Devils lost their second straight game, with a final score of 75-58. The Devils were led by Matt Aebersold (16 Second Half points) and Aaron Collins (12 Points, 4  Assists, and 2 Steals).

Before the contest started, Fredonia State honored the two seniors on their roster; Kreem George and DyDy Bryan. George continued on in the game to log the second most minutes for his team.

The Blue Devils struggled in the first half, shooting 14% from the field and were 1-7 from 3 point range. The Red Dragons controlled both ends of the court as they ran out to a 44-12 lead in the first half.

At the start of the second half, Fredonia State found another gear to try and cut into the large deficit. On their first possession of the half, George broke down his defender in the corner and drove to the basket where he was unable to get the dunk to fall. Braeden Miller was underneath the basket to find the rebound, where he put it up and in, while drawing the foul. The very next Devils possession, Alon Kremerman drove to the basket for a thunderous dunk.

Aebersold of Fredonia state had an excellent second half, after not finding a shot to fall in the first. He was able to tally 16 second half points, leading him to become the Blue Devils leading scorer.

Even with the Blue Devils second half resurgence, out scoring Oneonta 46-31, it was not enough to amount a comeback.

The Devils fall to 3-17 on the season and 3-10 in conference matchups.
