The offices of Residence Life, Campus Life and the Counseling Center have organized a Wellness Week starting Monday, Nov. 9.

There are several events slated for the week. Masks and social distancing for the events are required and will be enforced to ensure safety for the campus community and all those participating.

Wednesday, in the Multipurpose Room from 12:30 until 3 p.m., is Fresh Check Day, a mental health promotion and suicide prevention event that includes interactive expo booths, peer-to-peer messaging, support of multiple campus departments and groups, free food, entertainment, and exciting prizes and giveaways. Fresh Check Day aims to create an approachable and hopeful atmosphere where students are encouraged to engage in dialogue about mental health and help to build a bridge between students and the mental health resources available on campus, in the community, and nationally. More information can be found online

On Toasty Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., between the Office of Residence Life (Gregory Hall) and the Williams Center, there will be a glove and hat giveaway with a sweet treat.

Participants will be entered to win prizes!
