STEM faculty at SUNY Fredonia are hosting the 2nd Annual Bad Ad Hoc Hypothesis Fest on Friday of Homecoming weekend.
It is an opportunity to see STEM faculty and students give faux scientific talks that poke fun at their disciplines. Organizers noted that the first event last year was on a smaller scale, but this year, they invite all alumni and students to participate.
The event is slated for Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Kelly Family Auditorium in the Science Center.
The slate of talks has not been fully set yet.
Last year's talks included a discussion on proper wine and rock pairings for your next gathering, the ethics of time travel, and trilobite reproduction.
