Wilkins receives SUNY Career Development Organization award

Jennifer Wilkins

Jennifer Wilkins, internship coordinator and career counselor in the Career Development Office, received the 2019 SUNY Career Development Organization award for Excellence in Employer/Faculty/Community Collaborations for her Network on the Go program held during the Fall 2018 Activities Night on campus.

The selection committee recognized Ms. Wilkins for the high quality of her program and expressed praise for her demonstrated exceptional evidence of creativity, innovation and effectiveness.

In Network on the Go, more than 400 students had the opportunity to talk directly with representatives from 17 organization based in Western New York about internships and part-time employment and receive helpful career advice. Annex25, GEICO, Greystone Nature Preserve and United Way of Northern Chautauqua County were among the program participants.

Wilkins received the award at the SUNY Career Development Organization Conference held June 12-14 at the Beaver Hollow Conference Center in Java Center.
