The 2018-19 Fredonia Blue Devils Women's Track & Field team

The Fredonia women's track and field program earned 2019 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team recognition, the USTFCCCA announced.
 
Coached by Tom Wilson, the Blue Devils had a 3.17 cumulative grade-point average through the spring 2019 semester. Teams earn All-Academic recognition by combining for at least a 3.00 GPA.
 
A total of 297 NCAA Division III teams were honored by the USTFCCCA for their academics, including 184 women's teams.

The Fredonia State baseball team extended its win streak to four games with 10-4 and 5-4 wins over visiting Hilbert College on Monday. Christian Pagano connected for a two-run homerun in Game 1, his third in as many games. Alex Gannon added a two-run blast of his own in the opener.

Day 2 results at Cortland

The 4x100 relay team took third place, and turned in a AARTFC qualifying time on the second day of the Cortland Classic on Saturday. Jacob Winn -- a member of the relay team -- also turned in a third place in the finals of the 100m dash.

After qualifying for the finals on Friday, Cara Pellechia finished fourth in the 100m dash, and also turned in a fifth-place finish in the 200m for the top two finishes for the Fredonia State women's track and field team.
