The Fredonia State baseball team extended its win streak to four games with 10-4 and 5-4 wins over visiting Hilbert College on Monday. Christian Pagano connected for a two-run homerun in Game 1, his third in as many games. Alex Gannon added a two-run blast of his own in the opener.
The Fredonia State baseball team took a pair of games at Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday by scores of 11-5 and 18-7. Christian Pagano homered in both games and drove in seven, and Garrett Stuckey had a pair of doubles and drove in six runs.
Game 1 of the doubleheader started with a walk-off win -- the Devils' third of the season -- and finished with some strong pitching and timely hitting as the Fredonia State baseball team defeated Oneonta, 8-7 and 7-4.
Garrett Stuckey took the first pitch of the game over the centerfield fence and Fredonia State would go on to win Game 1 of a doubleheader, 5-3, at New Paltz. In Game 2, the Devils would lead 3-1 after six-and-a-half innings, but New Paltz scored seven runs over the final two innings.
