The Fredonia campus is oozing with fun and chilling activities to celebrate Halloween. Employees are coming to work in costume, and celebrations are occurring all over campus.

On Thursday, Oct. 31, the students and community can choose from a variety of events to help them get into the spirit.

Some of the events include:

  •  Premium Blend Halloween Jam – One of Fredonia’s favorite a cappella groups will get into the spirit and enchant the campus with spooky Halloween tunes. For eerie music like you’ve never heard before, venture into the Williams Center's Tim Hortons at 7 p.m. Of course, costumes are encouraged.
  • Ninth Annual Terror in the Trees – Fun seekers not faint of heart can experience an abundance of thrills and chills while being escorted through the haunted forest from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tickets can be purchased pre-sale at the Fredonia Ticket Office for $4 for students and $5 for adults. Tickets are also available at the Terror in the Trees entrance by Symphony Circle for $5.
  • FSA Halloween Dinner – What do Butchered Bats, Moldy Garden Slime, Cheesy Spider Web Pizza, Bird Parts, Toad Stools, and Fish Guts have in common? They’re just some of the concoctions whipped up by the Cranston Marche staff for Halloween. Those with strong stomachs can feast on this unique fare and more from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Students with a meal plan can use a meal or points, 9.08 in Fred funds or Debit, students, faculty, and public without a meal plan can $12.75 cash or credit card. Everyone is encouraged to wear their costumes.
  • Trick or Treat at the President’s House – President Virginia Horvath invites students to come dressed as any U.S. President or first lady to help greet children that come by. Join the magic will take place at 194 Central Avenue from 4 to 8 p.m.
