Campus to welcome families back for weekend of fun

Parents and family members of SUNY Fredonia students will return to campus to celebrate Family Weekend from Friday, Oct. 25 to Sunday, Oct. 27. Guests will be able to participate in array of activities sponsored by Campus Life and the Spectrum Entertainment Board. Some of the weekend activities include:

● The SUNY Fredonia Department of Theatre and Dance will present, “Moon Over Buffalo,” on Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. in Bartlett Theatre at the Rockefeller Arts Center. Tickets are $18.

● Overboard, an a cappella group from Boston, Mass., will be performing at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House on Friday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. The show is recommended for families of all ages. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students 17 and under.

● The annual Scholars Breakfast will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 9 a.m. in the Steele Hall Field House. This invitation-only event celebrates SUNY Fredonia’s scholarship recipients and honors the contributions of the donors and benefactors. All events requiring tickets can be purchased online at www.fredonia.edu/tickets or by phone at 716-673-3501.Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Fredonia Ticket Office, located in the Williams Center. Families participating in ticketed events are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
