Fredonia improved to 3-0 with an 86-81 women's basketball win Nov. 22 over the Hilbert Hawks.

Down by six midway through the third quarter, the Blue Devils rallied to pull even on a three-point basket by Alexis Cheatham (Lockport/Lockport) and take the lead on a layup by Sarah Sweazy (Rochester, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta). They led the rest of the way.

Einink finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds while Cheatham had 22 points. Einink was 8 of 15 from the field, Cheatham 7 of 15 (including 4 of 5 from three-point range), as the Blue Devils shot 46.9 percent from the field.
