Earth Week event: Sex and Environment

Christine Davis Mantai

The Women’s Student Union, STEPS and the Earth Week Committe will host "Sex and the Environment" Workshop to unite environmental and reproductive justice movements on Tuesday, April 22, at 5 p.m. in Williams Center Room S104.

The event connects local-to-global issues of access to health care, accurate information about sex, clean air and water, and global warming solutions.  Representative Cassie Gardener of the Sierra Club will join members of the SUNY Fredonia community to raise awareness of why access to reproductive health services and information and youth leadership are necessary to solve the global environmental challenges we face today.
