Feb. 23 Fair will cover study abroad courses this summer; offer passport help

The International Education Center has announced its annual Adventures Abroad Fair for Tuesday Feb. 23. The fair will take place in the lobby of McEwen Hall from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
 
Many of the professors who lead the courses will be available at the fair, along with staff from the international education office who can answer any and all questions.
 
The fair will feature the eight countries where the study abroad programs are occurring this summer. These programs include:
: A Cultural and Political Survey; France: Heavenly Portals; Mexican Language and Culture; Mexican Culture and Spanish Immersion; Ghana: An Artistic Expression; England: London Literary; Italy: Renaissance Arts of Florence and Rome; Russian History and Culture; and Turkey: Istanbul and the Turquoise Coast.

Passport applications
 
There will also be a representative available from the post office to process new/renewal applications for passports, take passport photos, and provide information. Students will need their original birth certificate along with two forms of photo identification. The passport costs $115 by check and $116.50 by cash.
 
Summer Session Information
 
Registration for thesummer sessions involved through the Adventures Abroad Fair, as well as for on campus and online summer sessions at SUNY Fredonia, is currently available through Your Connection. Dates for summer sessions run from May 17 through July 30.
