Fredonia Greeks sponsoring 'Bald for Bucks' to benefit Roswell Park

SUNY Fredonia’s Greek life organizations, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and Sigma Kappa Sorority, are hosting “Bald for Bucks” on Wednesday, May 1, at 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Williams Center Multipurpose room.

“Bald for Bucks” is an event in which attendees have the opportunity to observe brave participating students “go bald” in order to raise money and awareness for Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Participants collect pledges to have their hair shaved or cut in which all proceeds raised will be donated for research and patient care programs at Roswell.

Participants will receive an “I went Bald For Bucks” t-shirt if they collect a minimum of $100 in pledges. Donations are greatly appreciated.

The event is free to attend and is open to the campus and community.
