Professor Roderick MacDonald will conduct the Thayer Symphony Orchestra in Clinton, Mass., in ts holiday pops concert on Saturday, Dec. 3.

“The concert is a Christmas pops concert consisting of traditional holiday music enjoyed by young and old alike,” MacDonald said.

“There will be more music from the German tradition because of Clinton’s German community.”  MacDonald has played the trumpet several times as soloist with the TSO, but this will be his first time on the podium as conductor.

He was interviewed by the Coulter Press newspapers on Nov. 11 in a feature about the concert and his guest appearance.
