Opera Scenes slated for March 3 through 5 at 1891 Fredonia Opera House

Members of the Student Opera Theatre Association will be featuring four opera scenes in performances on Friday, March 3, at 7 p.m., and March 4 and 5 at 2 p.m., at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House.

Tickets are $5 for students, $8 for seniors, and $10 for adults, and can be ordered by calling the opera house box office at 716-679-0891.

Scenes, directors and pianists include:

“Trial by Jury,” with Amy Cohen, director; Sai Ceng, music director, and Theresa Thordarson, pianist.

“Le Nozze di Figaro,” with Lynne McMurtry, director; Spencer Zembrodt, music director, and Noah Turner, pianist.

“L’Elisir d’Amore” with Dr. Rob Strauss, director, and Choi Seon Kyoung, pianist.

“Nine,” with Paul W. Mockovak, director; Laurie Lasher Tramuta, music director, and James Welch, pianist.
