SEFA Campaign gears up

The State Employee Federated Appeal (SEFA,) chaired by Patricia Lefferts (purchasing) and Ray Rushboldt (political science), is gearing up for the Fall 2006 campaign with a Solicitor’s Brunch to be held Thursday, Sept. 28 at 9:30 a.m. at the Alumni House.

The Custodial Kick-off is set for Thursday, Oct. 5 in the Williams Center S-104 at 1 p.m.

Donors who contribute $25 or more will be eligible for the many prizes, which includes the traditional luncheon at the President’s home, passes to basketball, hockey games, public ice skating; tickets to the Commencement Eve Pops Concert (May 11, 2007), and a choice of the Holiday Choral Concert (Dec. 17) or the Buffalo Philharmonic (April 15, 2007), plus items from the athletic department: golf bag, shirts, hats, mugs and also gift certificates from Signature Café and Starbucks Café.

The United Way Grand Prize is a $500 gift certificate from Wal-Mart.

The SEFA Campaign slogan is “Change a Life – Change a Neighborhood - Change the World.”
