Slush Rush 5K slated for March 13

The Office of International Education will host the eighth annual Slush Rush 5K on Sunday, March 13, beginning in the Williams Center. The run/walk will benefit the Xylia Peterson ’85 Memorial Fund, a scholarship program that benefits international students on campus.

This event is open to all campus and community members. Registration for students is $15 and $25 for community members. Registration costs include race entry, door prizes, shirts and an after party. The first 150 participants to register will receive a free long-sleeve t-shirt and entry to the post-race party and award ceremony. Awards will be presented to the first overall female/male runners and medals will be given to the top three runners in each age group.

Registration and packet pick up will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the Williams Center Mulitpurpose Room. The race will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
