Fredonia senior midfielder Katie Kleine (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) is Upper 90's choice as the top NCAA Division III women's soccer player in Western New York.

Kleine, already a SUNYAC First Team honoree, was cited this week by the soccer magazine after leading the Blue Devils in goals, assists, and points (7-4-18). She will graduate next May ranked fourth all-time at Fredonia with 63 points and tied for first all-time with 19 assists.

In addition to receiving the D-III Player of the Year distinction, Kleine was also named to Upper 90's Second XI, a compilation of top players across all collegiate divisions. She was joined by sophomore forward Alexis Moreland (Newfane, N.Y./Newfane) on the Second XI, and by sophomore midfielder -- and younger sister -- Kristie Kleine (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) in the Third XI.

The younger Kleine and Moreland each made All SUNYAC teams as well, with Kleine on the Second Team and Moreland named to the Third Team.
