Students' international and cultural diversity is topic of panel Nov. 19

All faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend a panel presentation, "Coming to Fredonia," by from SUNY Fredonia students regarding their cultural perspectives, concerns, and experiences. As the campus begins to ponder what it means to be and support a global community, people are asked to come and engage with current international and culturally diverse students about their experiences living, learning, and participating in the Fredonia community. The event will be held Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 5 p.m., in the Reed Library Garden Room. 

“Coming to Fredonia: The Global Student Perspective,” is the third installment of the three-part fall lecture series, “Diversity as Personal Responsibility,” sponsored by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Professional Development Center.

Antonio Regulier is the Student Association chair of Diversity Relations and is working with Bill Boerner, chief diversity officer and director of the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, to organize the event. The panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Boerner. Students will be asked various questions and offer their own personal insights. Audience members can also share experiences and ask questions of the panelists.
