The Flu Vaccine is now available at the Student Health Center in LoGrasso Hall. Hours are Monday to Friday from 9 until 11 a.m., and 2 until 4 p.m.

The cost is $10 for students and $20 for employees and must be procured using a FredCard.

Director of Student Health Center Deborah Dibble noted that influenza is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death. Every flu season is different, and the influenza infection can affect people differently. Even healthy people can get very sick from the flu and spread it to others. She added, "Flu vaccination is an important preventive tool for people to keep you from getting sick from flu. Protecting yourself from flu also protects the people around you who are more vulnerable to serious flu illness."
