Timothy Frerichs, Associate Professor of Art, is exhibiting in two venues during the Month of April.

The first is a three person exhibit at RAUM 2, Galerie am Schwarzen Meer, in Bremen, Germany. Frerichs is exhibiting six new works on paper addressing the theme "night". The other two artists that will be displaying their work are Andreas Kramer and Thomas Rohrmann, both from Germany.  This exhibit coincides with the showing of the international artist book project "IL Libro Della Notte". Frerichs has work included in the artist book which has exhibited widely in Europe, including Italy, Germany, and Spain and will be exhibited this fall at the Western New York Book Arts Collaborative, Buffalo.

The second venue is Frerichs' solo installation, opening Saturday, April 28, at the Big Orbit Gallery in Buffalo, NY. Frerichs' large scale installation explores the connection between the first large commercial ship, LaSalle's Le Griffon, with the Tifft Nature Preserve, a former trans-shipping center in Buffalo, NY.
