Tracy Collingwood named director of Career Development

Tracy L. Collingwood has been named Director of Career Development at SUNY Fredonia, following a national search. She has been the Interim Director since October 2009 and has developed rapport and collaborative relationships with the campus and community.

Tracy was an instructor and part-time counselor in the Counseling and Career Development Center at Jamestown Community College before coming to SUNY Fredonia in 1996.

Tracy also worked in the Office of Media Relations as the University Website Coordinator from 2001-2006 and then returned to the Career Development Office as the Internship Coordinator and built a very successful campus-wide credit-bearing internship program for students.

She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from SUNY Fredonia and her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from SUNY Buffalo.
