Editor's UPDATE: Nov. 8, 3:23 p.m.: Fredonia won the SUNYAC playoffs in today's game against New Paltz, 3-0. The team will advance to the NCAA playoffs.

The Blue Devils earned the right to host the SUNYAC Women's Volleyball Championships by winning the SUNYAC West Division. The team, coached by Geoffrey Braun, went 10-0 in conference play, sweeping every match 3-0 during the season.  The tournament begins Thursday, Nov. 6, with the championship match taking place on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

5 p.m. -- Potsdam vs. Brockport

Fri., Nov. 7
3 p.m. -- Cortland/Geneseo winner vs. Fredonia State
6 p.m. -- Potsdam/Brockport winner vs. New Paltz

Sat., Nov. 8
2 p.m. -- Championship match

The Fredonia State baseball team extended its win streak to four games with 10-4 and 5-4 wins over visiting Hilbert College on Monday. Christian Pagano connected for a two-run homerun in Game 1, his third in as many games. Alex Gannon added a two-run blast of his own in the opener.
