Five SUNY Fredonia employees, whose collective service spans more than a half-century and all five major departments within the Administration division, have received Outstanding Administrative Service Awards in recognition of exemplary service during 2010.

“The strength of SUNY Fredonia and the Administrative division continues to be hard-working, dedicated employees that perform a wide range of services throughout the campus,” said Tracy Bennett, vice president for Administration, who hosted the October luncheon to honor the five individuals.

Recipients of the award, and their respective positions, include:

  • Joseph Fabritius, Professional Trades, supervising electrician in Facilities Services. A Fredonia resident, Fabritius joined SUNY Fredonia as a temporary electrician in 1992.

  • Terri Helwig, FSA Operational, account clerk with FSA. A resident of Dunkirk, Helwig has worked in the FSA Business Office since 2003.

  • Randy Goodemote, Custodial Services, cleaner in the Campus and Community Children’s Center. A resident of Gowanda, Goodemote has served as a cleaner since 2000.

  • Judy Langworthy, Professional Staff, university controller. A resident of Fredonia, Langworthy was appointed a financial programs accountant in the office of Student Accounts in 1997.

For the last eight years, the Administrative division has recognized individuals from within that division that have demonstrated a solid team effort in their everyday actions, an outstanding Fredonia service attitude, creativity and resourcefulness in improving services, and a positive attitude in working with students, faculty and staff.
