Geologist to offer lectures in March

Dr. Thomas Hegna of the Department of Geology and Environmental Science will deliver a lecture in-person in Denver, CO, “Tales told by Trilobites” at the Thursday, March 7 Earth Science Forum at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

The March 7 talk will highlight how people can learn new, important, and relevant things from long-extinct creatures like trilobites. The talk will include stories from Dr. Hegna's research and from that of other paleontologists over the last 20 years.

In addition, Hegna will deliver the same lecture in a Zoom format for the Geological Society of Minnesota on Monday, March 11, at 7:45 p.m. To sign up to hear the lecture, go to the link.
