A new impactful and practical workshop designed to inspire entrepreneurs to put their talent-acquisition plan and ideas into practice right away will be presented by Rich Koerner, founder and president of RA Koerner & Company, as part of the Entrepreneurial Education Program series at the Fredonia Technology Incubator.

Topics to be addressed at the Wednesday, Dec. 2, workshop include: defining can-do, will-do and right-fit; what it means to hire “smarter” people than oneself; why this is the No. 1 way to find talent; how to implement the “blast-off” strategy and how to sell opportunity without over-selling.

Established in Westfield in 1996, RA Koerner & Company helps individuals and organizations navigate the challenges and rigors of business life. Earlier in his career, Mr. Koerner served in human resources and management positions with Texas Instruments, International Playtex and Cliffstar Corporation.

Koerner’s expertise in hiring and selection success has benefited many organizations throughout Chautauqua County and Western New York.

“The Entrepreneurial Education Program provides entrepreneurs with useful information and an opportunity to ask presenters questions,” said Chuck Cornell, incubator director. “High quality and interactive workshops such as these are a key part of what we provide at the incubator.”

The workshop will held be remotely via Zoom from noon to 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Participates must register online. Registered participants will receive a Zoom invite via email prior to the workshop.
