Students gather information about campus organizations at last year’s Activities Night.

Students looking to join a student club or organization are invited to Activities Night, a showcase of more than 150 clubs and organizations who are rolling out the welcome mat to new members, in Dods Grove on Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Clubs will set up tables, booths and other displays to introduce themselves at Activities Night, a club fair and campus tradition held at the start of each semester.

Network on the Go, a Career Development Office event that brings employers to Activities Night who are looking for students to fill positions and internships, will also be a part of Activities Night.

“Students looking to join a club should attend Activities Night, as most of Fredonia's student organizations will be onsite at that time,” said Office of Campus Life Assistant Director Rachel Martin. Student organizations will display information about their club and collect names of students interested in joining, Ms. Martin added.

If students cannot attend the event, Martin encourages them to visit FREDconnect, the student organization portal, to search organizations and contact the president of a club for more information on joining.
