Each and every December since 2000, Fredonia SigEp's have been delivering a Christmas tree to a family in need, located in the Buffalo area, by foot! Members started the 46.5 mile journey from the Williams Center in Fredonia to Lafayette Square in Buffalo at roughly 5 a.m. on Dec. 2. Every member of the fraternity participates and it is a great opportunity for them to get into the holiday spirit and give back to the Buffalo community.
The Costello Interplay Award Fund was established by Fredonia alumnus Dennis R., ’72, and Kathryn L. Costello with the Fredonia College Foundation in 2016. In 2018, a new collaboration has provided increased funding with Costello Interplay Award funds matched by the foundation’s Phyllis and Lawrence Patrie Endowment for the Sciences.
