The Fredonia men's swimming and diving teams had one of its strongest showings this season at Brockport. Bill Bradley won four events, and Graham Jones and Cameron Criss were triple winners. Christian Krasnek won both the 3-meter and 1-meter boards.

The Fredonia women's basketball team outscored Buffalo State 32-13 in the fourth quarter -- including a 24-2 run to close out the game -- to claim a 78-67 road win on Saturday. Senior guard Jacque Law (Lime Lake/Pioneer) also joined the 1,000-point club, finishing with 20 points. Emily Lasher (Wilson/Wilson) led the Devils with a 21-point effort.
In a game that featured 15 lead changes, the Fredonia men's basketball team picked up its first SUNYAC win of the season with an 81-72 victory over SUNY Buffalo State on Saturday. Ian Helps had 28 points and 10 rebounds and all five Fredonia starters scored in double digits.
Fredonia's Ethan Francis (Dunkirk/Dunkirk) was named the Student Athlete of the Year by the SUNYAC for men's cross country. The junior video production/political science major carries a 3.94 GPA during his career, including a 4.0 mark this past semester. Francis finished seventh at the conference championship meet, a feat that placed him in the SUNYAC Cross Country Hall of Fame. Francis then went on to earn NCAA Atlantic All-Region honors.
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected the winner for Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week. This week's winner, Jenna Einink of Westfield, was chosen out of nominations from across the conference.
After a first half that was back and forth, Fredonia's 12-0 third-quarter run keyed the women's basketball team in a 66-57 win over Plattsburgh on Saturday. Jenna Einink led all scorers with 18 points and Sydney Turley had 10.
