Broomball games raising dollars for orphans

SUNY Fredonia students are supporting the local Rotary Club’s “Let Kids Be Kids” program through a broomball tournament to be held Friday, Dec. 1 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the Steele Hall Ice Rink. The event is open to all, and refreshments will be provided.

The money will be used by the Rotary Club to send utensils, toys, and necessities to children who have been orphaned by AIDS in Mozambique, Africa.

Along with the Faculty Student Association, student groups sponsoring the event are the Advanced Leadership Development Program, ADEPT, and BAACHUS.
