Christine Davis Mantai

Dr. Roger Byrne (Biology) and Dr. Ingrid Johnston-Robledo (Psychology) have agreed to be part of the  leadership team in the College of Arts and Sciences.  Dr. Byrne will serve as Associate Dean; Dr. Johnston-Robledo will serve as Assistant Dean. The appointments are for two years. Dr. Byrne’s appointment begins July 1, and; Dr. Johnston-Robledo’s begins September 1.

Both Dr. Byrne and Dr. Johnston-Robledo are accomplished faculty members within their departmental units. Furthermore, both have achievements that go beyond the bounds of an individual department.

Dr. Johnston-Robledo has served successfully as the Director of Women’s Studies. Directing this interdisciplinary program has allowed her to work cooperatively with people across campus.

Most recently, Dr. Byrne has served the entire campus by co-directing our Middle States Self-Study process and overseeing the Office of Assessment. In the past, he also served as Interim Dean of the College of Natural and Social Sciences.
