Red Carpet nightNote: This event has been cancelled for this year due to the low number of presale tickets purchased and many other events scheduled for the weekend. It is anticipated that in 2013 the event will again be held in the newly-renovated Williams Center.

The Cranston Marche’s red carpet is ready for the 6th annual Fredonia’s Oscar Night on Sunday, Feb. 26. The general admission includes appetizers, mocktails, an elegant dinner, desserts and late night popcorn.

Guests will be entertained with movie themed trivia, BINGO, and a silent auction during commercial breaks of the live broadcast of the awards.

Attendees have chances to win the grand prize by guessing the most number of correct Oscar winners on their ballot. Seating for the night is limited. Seat reservation sign-up could be done in a residence hall or at the Fredonia Ticket Office by Wednesday, Feb. 15. Red carpet attire is highly recommended.

This event could be covered with a meal or $7.95 in points for attendees with FSA meal plans. Those who don’t have FSA meal plans will be charged $20.

This year, SUNY Fredonia's celebration of the 84th Academy Awards is being co-organized and sponsored by the office of Campus Life, Fredonia Student Association and Weekend Hang Out Activities.  To learn more, contact Erin Mroczka at mroczka@fredonia.edu or 716-673-3143.
