A Chinese New Year celebration will be held on Monday, Feb. 9 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room. Sponsoring the event are students in the Chinese Club, Foreign Language Club, and International Club.

"Having Chinese New Year celebration on campus provides a special chance for non-Chinese students to learn about Chinese culture, and a time for everyone to celebrate the new year with friends, both old and new," said Chengcen Su, president of the Chinese Club.

The Chinese New Year celebration is the most important festival in China.

Seating is limited, so students and faculty need to reserve a ticket as soon as possible. Reservations are limited to one ticket per person/request. To reserve your ticket, which can be picked up at the event entrance, please contact Zhuojun Fu, Publicity Officer of Chinese Club, at fu0317@fredonia.edu.
