Rockefeller Arts Center Director Jefferson Westwood said he is pleased to welcome Fredonia Place back as the corporate sponsor of the World Travel Series.

“Several of my good friends reside there and I have been to the property many times for various visits, functions and meetings,” Westwood said. “The place is beautiful and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. One of the nice things about Fredonia Place is they have an activities van that takes their residents to events in the area ─ including many of the shows and productions here at Rockefeller Arts Center.”

The World Travel Series will feature three programs this season, beginning Oct. 25 with “La Belle France” by noted travel filmmaker Monty Brown. The program begins at 7:30 p.m. in King Concert Hall.

The film takes audiences through five regions of historic France. Highlights include Normandy and its famous beaches and all the sights of Paris ─ the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Louvre. The film also features Vendee on the Atlantic coast, with its ancient ruins and canals, and Poitou, with the Valley of the Frescoes, Medieval music and jousting. The journey ends in Provence.
