History students host photojournalist for senior capstone conference

Students from the Department of History’s Honors Capstone Class will present, “Conflict and Crisis in Africa,” their senior capstone conference, on Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Williams Center Room 204 A-E

Brendan Bannon, a Western New York photojournalist based in Nairobi, Kenya, will deliver the keynote address. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Christian Science Monitor and The Daily Telegraph, among other publications. Students will explore various themes on conflict and crisis in recent African history.

The event is free and open to the public.
