A murder mystery dinner theatre, masquerading as the “91st Grand Feathers Awards Ceremony” – an awards program like no other – will be staged by the Interactive Theatre Society on Friday and Saturday, March 30 and 31, at the Williams Center.

“This murder mystery is different from other shows because, rather than performing on a stage, the entirety of the show is run amongst the audience through improv and a script. There will even be a buffet of hors d'oeuvres,” said Erica Armstrong, who handles public relations for the student-run organization.

Actors will sit with the audience, so there will be ample opportunity for everyone to interact with one another during the whole show. And, of course, the audience will also help solve the crime.

“The goal is to make the audience genuinely feel as if they are a guest at a real awards show,” Ms. Armstrong added.

The production will be presented at 7 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday in the Multipurpose Room. Tickets, at $10, will be sold only at the Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center.

Oscar worthy attire is encouraged!

The Interactive Theatre Society puts on “Terror in the Trees” during the fall semester, as well as murder mystery shows each spring.
