Liberal Arts and Sciences Brown Bag Lecture Series presents, 'Technology in the Arts'

The next event in Liberal Arts and Sciences Brown Bag Lecture Series, "Technology in the Arts," will be held on Wednesday, March 5, at noon in McEwen Hall Room 202. The event is free and all are welcome.

The lecture panel was chosen by Jonathan Chausovsky of the Department of Political Science, a member of the Brown Bag Committee. School of Music faculty member and composer Rob Deemer will be the moderator and discussant.

The speakers, all faculty at SUNY Fredonia, each developed a topic that explores how the world of the arts is being changed and enhanced by technology. Jill Johnston of the Department of Visual Arts and New Media will address, “Analog and Digital Fusions Within Animation and Illustration.” Todd Proffitt of the Department of Theatre and Dance will talk about, “Exploring Entertainment Technology," and Jason Dillworth of the Department of Visual Arts and New Media will provide insight on, “Twenty Year Old Software: How Technology Changes the Way Stories are Told.”
