Premium Blend celebrates fifth anniversary with BLENDSTOCK a cappella music fest
SUNY Fredonia's male and female a cappella group, Premium Blend (in photo), will celebrate its fifth anniversary with the a cappella invitational entitled, BLENDSTOCK. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, in the Multipurpose Room in the Williams Center. More than a dozen Premium Blend alumni will also be returning for an alumni luncheon earlier in the day.
BLENDSTOCK will be the biggest concert Premium Blend has ever had and the first invitational it has ever hosted. Fredonia's all male a cappella group, Much More Chill, will open the show, followed by Call4Backup, an all female group from Nazareth College. After that, Proof of Purchase, a coed group from the Rochester Institute of Technology, will perform.
After a brief intermission, The Guerrillas, an all male group from Fredonia will start the second half. Then, coed group Absolut A Capella from SUNY New Paltz will sing and Premium Blend will end the show with a variety of new songs and some throwback songs with its alumni.
Students, faculty and members of the community are welcome to come enjoy this event. Tickets are being sold at the ticket office. Tickets cost $2 for students pre-sale, and $3 for the general public and at the door.
