Sixpence None the Richer's Tess Wiley to headline Diers concert Wed. night

Tess Wiley, formerly of Sixpence None the Richer, comes to Diers Recital Hall Wed. at 8 p.m.

SUNY Fredonia welcomes former Sixpence None the Richer guitarist tess Wiley to Diers Recital Hall Wednesday, March 9 at 8 p.m.

She will be joined by Buffalo's Tina Marie Williams, winner of the 2005 Kingdom Bound talent search contest, for a show titled, "Women that Rock."

Sixpence None the Richer is a pop/rock band originally from New Braunfels, Texas, that enjoyed great mainstream success in the 1990s and early 2000s.

The two guest artist apperances are being made possible by the Music Business program's student record label, Funhouse productions, and the Women's Student Union, as part of its programming for Women's History Month.

The event is free for all students and counts as an MUS 120 credit.

Marrazzo conducts master classes

School of Music Assistant Professor Don Marrazzo gave a master class at Houghton University and also participated in a two-day residency at Detroit Opera to work with members of the Resident Artist Program.
