Four SUNY Fredonia music students -- David Gorfien, Michael Sevilla, Michael Morris and Chris Grabar -- participated in a master class conducted by Marko Feri, a prize-winning guitarist from Slovenia, on Sunday, the final day of the Art of the Guitar festival.

Each student performed his own selection and received guidance on musical techique from Mr. Feri.

Master classes serve as public music lessons, so members of the audience can apply many of the concepts raised during each individual session to their own musical works.

Marko Feri received his Diploma in guitar from the G.Tartin conservatory in Trieste (Italy). A sought-after soloist and chamber musician, Feri plays regularly in important music festivals in countries around the world. Visit his website.
