The Ticket Office at the State University of New York at Fredonia will remain in its temporary location in the lobby of Marvel Theatre at Rockefeller Arts Center until Sept. 22.

The Ticket Office moved to the Marvel lobby in May to make way for a renovation project in the Williams Center. As part of the project, a brand new modern space will be created for the Ticket Office.

Beginning on Monday, Sept. 22, the Ticket Office will start operating from its new location in room G-144 of the Williams Center.

Alison Barry, manager of ticketing and customer service, said the new location will offer more space and a quieter environment than the previous Williams Center location.

“We’re very happy to be moving to a larger space. Not only will it allow us to better serve our customers, it will provide a more conducive space for our ticket office practicum course to take place,” Barry said.

Season and single-event tickets for the 2008-09 Lake Shore Savings Season at Rockefeller Arts Center are now on sale to the public.

Included are all events in the DFT Communications Pops Series, the Kaleidoscope Family Series sponsored by Howard Hanna Holt Real Estate, the World Travel Series sponsored by Fredonia Place, the Walter Gloor Mainstage Series and the Western New York Chamber Orchestra Classics Series.

Ticket Office hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday. The telephone number is 716-673-3501 (1-866-441-4928) and the fax number is 716-673-3651. The web address for ordering tickets online 24 hours a day, seven days a week is www.fredonia.edu/tickets.

“Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns,” Barry said. “We’ll be happy to direct you to our temporary location.”
