Todd Proffitt (theatre arts and dance) was the lighting designer this summer for the Cortland Repertory Theatre Company. He designed the lighting for “8 Track Sounds of the 70’s”, “Leading Ladies”, Mousetrap” and “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." While there, he worked alongside SUNY Fredonia alumni Jessica Mykins and Marcus Goldhaber, and current student Mark Andrew Reeve.
Dr. Robert Strass will conduct the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus in “ WALK TOGETHER,” a concert to be performed at three sites in May and featuring “Tyler’s Suite,” a nine-song cycle about the life and death of Tyler Clementi, as well as songs from, for, or about Buffalo, NY.
School of Music Assistant Professor Don Marrazzo gave a master class at Houghton University and also did a two-day residency at Detroit Opera to work with members of the Resident Artist Program.
Assistant Professor So-Jin Yu presented collaborative research by Business Administration faculty that examined the impact of race in the hiring process, at the annual Business Research Consortium conference on Saturday, April 27.
