Vassoler-Froelich receives distinguished service award at conference

Ivani Vassoler-Froelich, associate professor in the Department of Politics and International Affairs, and coordinator of the International Studies Program, was given the Judy McInnis Distinguished Service Award at the annual conference of the Middle Atlantic Council of Latin American Studies, held March 9 and 10, in Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa.

The award recognizes those who make contributions to the field of Latin American studies and affairs.

The mid-Atlantic region encompasses New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
