In the most recent years, it has come to the realization the there are students on the Fredonia campus who are struggling with issues of food insecurity. This issue is more prevalent at the end of the college semester when food points have dwindled, and funds are less. The Student Health Center in collaboration with the campus Counseling Center and Campus Life have promoted a food pantry for the end of each semester. Located in the vestibule of LoGrasso Hall as well as at the information desk of the Williams Center, the campus food pantry has distributed thousands of items to date.
Going forward, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the Fredonia Campus Community a better place for all. We are here to help students learn how to care for themselves, and help those in need along the way. The following link is to the Fredonia Campus Food Pantry. It is here that you will find great education resources for budgeting money and points, nutritional information about what is good for you and what is not, as well as resources both on campus and out in the community if you find yourself experiencing food insecurity.
