Communication Minor - 21 credits
The Communication minor requires 21 credit hours, allowing students to tailor their coursework to their interests while developing key communication competencies.
Core Courses: 6 credits
COMM 101 Fundamentals of Communication 3 credits
COMM 105 Public Speaking 3 credits
Additionally, students should complete fifteen (15) additional credits of COMM classes offered in the department, twelve (12) of which should be upper level.
NOTE:
- A minimum of 9 credit hours at the 300 level or above must be taken at Fredonia.
- Students may not use COMM 470: WNYF/FRS/Leader Practicum, COMM 475: Communication Supervision, COMM 480: Communication Internship, or COMM 490: Independent Study toward the minor requirements.
- For minor credit to be awarded, the student must complete the coursework with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
- All Communication classes must earn a C grade or better. Students are only allowed to repeat once a C- or lower grade.
