Marsha Cohen has created videos for YouTube, but it was her storyline as an aspiring journalist that landed the SUNY Fredonia student on “Anderson,” the nationally syndicated show hosted by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper.
Laura Deen Johnson, assistant professor of communications, was a guest speaker at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas, where she addressed the topic, "Expressions of Civil Region in Post 9-11 America." The multi-media presentation took place March 12 at the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center.
The four-day, northeast regional event culminated in a Gala Concert featuring the festival's strongest works, including Fredonia Dance Ensemble's "Embodying," choreographed by Professor Sam Kenney and part of the program for the group's spring concert on campus March 23-25.

State University of New York Athletic Conference Commissioner Patrick R. Damore has announced he will retire from his position at the end of his current contract which concludes June 30. Dr. Damore has served as the first, and only, commissioner in the history of the conference.
