Fredonia Bass Fest slated for mid-February

Assistant Professor Kieran Hanlon and the Fredonia Bass Studio are hosting Fredonia Bass Fest 2019 on Sunday, Feb. 17 in the School of Music. Professional players, college students, high school students, teachers, and adult learners will join together for a day of performances and classes presented by Mr. Hanlon and world-class guests.

Bowling Green guest artists to give cello/piano recital

Two members of the College of Musical Arts faculty at Bowling Green State University will give a cello and piano recital and conduct a master class on Wednesday, Feb. 6. Cellist Brian Snow and pianist Robert Satterlee will perform sonatas from the 19th and early 20th centuries by Claude Debussy and Johannes Brahms.

World renowned pianist to perform with WNYCO

Internationally known pianist Philip Edward Fisher will join the Western New York Chamber Orchestra (WNYCO) as a guest artist at its next concert, “Ebony and Ivory,” on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 4 p.m., in King Concert Hall.
