Campus talk to explore growth of data science, analytics
How the field of data science and analytics has developed will be reviewed in the presentation “Data Science and Analytics Opportunities in Academia and Industry Across Disciplines” by Dr. Joaquin Carbonara, a research professor of Mathematics at SUNY Buffalo State, on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at noon.
Pi Day slated for March 7
The campus and community are invited to participate with the Department of Mathematical Sciences on Thursday, March 7 at 6 p.m. in McEwen Hall Room 209 in celebrating Pi Day. The event is being held a week early due to the spring break. The year’s theme is “CSPi.”
