Blanchet and Specht publish on corporate speech pathology

Christine Davis Mantai

Dr. Paul Blanchet and recent graduate Nicole Specht collaborated in research that resulted in a recent article in Contemporary Issues in Communication Sciences & Disorders (a peer-reviewed journal). The first author, Ms. Specht, graduated in 2008 with her master's degree in Speech Pathology. The article is titled  "A survey of corporate speech pathologists' demographic characteristics, professional activities, and career satisfaction."  The study was done in partial fulfillment of the requirements for Ms. Specht's master's degree. Dr. Blanchet said, "This is the first known published study specifically addressing the burgeoning area of corporate speech pathology."
